Not very Obscotch but still something fun and new. I haven’t made music like this in a long time. Kind of reminds me of Orion’s Belt or very early Autechre with less reverb.
I’ve recently bought an AKG C-1000 mic a pair of JBL LSR 2300 Studio Monitors and a Lexicon MX300 rack effects processor. So hopefully everything I make from now on will sound a lot cleaner and better produced. Very excited to remix some old favorites too.

This isn’t done yet and a lot of the filters were applied live which is why it sounds so choppy and out of time. There is also no song structure to speak of. Just kind of showing off what I have so far.
Just some sound-scapes I’ve been working on using drum loops in granular synthesizers. Sorry about it being heavy on the left speaker, not sure how that happened.
Obscotch and SWL are playing a show on Sunday the 14th of December with M.Rosner, Diode, and Silver Buletin at the Hyde Park Hotel. Entry is $8 with a free compilation CD of all the acts.
